Since v4.0, RockNES has been a massive performance hog that needs a really powerful Mac to run well. I mean why does it take so much power to play these simple games? I don't get why a system thats over 20 years old needs computers this fast to run. It an alright sim, a bit confusing on the frost and defrost states, and you need 900mhrz or more to run smoothly, has a tendency to crash when game geni codes are enterd, but cant beat the compatability

Also, it has rewinds and fast forwards which I find are really useful. NEStopia runs faster, the game genie actually works, and it doesn't slow down while I have other things open. For best performance, a Quartz Extreme compatible AGP video card is required.ДЄctually, this is waaaay better than RockNES.Further information is also available from the enclosed Read Me file.
